I am so glad you are here! Exercise and nutrition are the best investments you can make for yourself. I believe there are four key steps involved in establishing these investments as positive affirmations in your life. The first step in making a positive change is to DECIDE. You did just that by deciding to workout. Once you make the decision, you made a COMMITment to yourself by hiring me to actively participate in gaining the proper knowledge needed to see the positive changes you want in your life. The third step is to ACHIEVE all of these changes by utilizing a personally guided routine to help you define and reach you goals. The final step is the best and I am honored you have allowed me to assist you in getting to that point and that is SUCCESS. Lets be successful together!!
My approach to fitness focuses around integrity, balance and passion. I believe what you put into your workouts is what you get out of them. The knowledge I supply you with will help you to achieve the results you desire. I approach each client as an individual with individual needs. It is my goal to assist you in meeting those goals by applying good form and technique to each workout and to continually provide you with new challenges. My approach to Personal Training is to connect the mind, body and spirit to help you reach your potential.
Each program will be specifically designed for each individual. Goals and fitness assessments will be attained and reassessed on a continual basis based on the progress monitored by the Trainer. The fitness assessment will include a body fat %, BMI, weight, height and girth measurements.
Each program will also include the option for a full nutritional assessment. A menu plan will be provided based on the individual needs of each client in regards to specific nutritional needs and guidelines. The Trainer will monitor each nutrition assessment and changes may be made in regards to when the Trainer and client deems necessary. If client wishes, a modified version of any part of the nutrition may be provided either to include more or less detail.
Each program will have a starting point which will be determined by an assessment period where the Trainer will monitor the client on how their body moves, what exercises they prefer, specific goals and needs desired, and also strengths and weaknesses housed in each muscle and body part, i.e. stronger and weaker muscles and sides of the body. Based on this assessment and monitoring period, an individualized program will then be attained and used continually with new challenges introduced periodically and with a universal goal of restoring balance and control to every day activities.
Business Policies
Respectfully, a 24-hour cancellation period is required by the client and also by the Trainer. The client will be charged for an appointment if cancelled less than 24 hours of the scheduled appointment time. The Trainer will also show the same respect to the client and offer a free session if the session is cancelled less than 24 hours. Exceptions can and will be made according to what the Trainer deems necessary and important.
Sessions are scheduled for one-hour periods of time. More or less can be obtained according to the needs of each client. Prices may vary accordingly.
Sound business ethics are expected from the Trainer and respectfully from each client.
I am a dedicated professional with more than ten years experience in Personal Training and teaching group exercise. I have extensive knowledge in developing exercise programs for weight loss and muscle gain, rehabilitation, improvement in functional movement, sport specific activities, and fulfilling the needs of my clients. I bring a vibrant passion to each session to facilitate reaching personal goals. I am certified in Personal Training and group exercise through A.C.E. and A.F.A.A., along with certifications in Pilates, Tomahawk cycling, Arthritis Foundation Special Populations, Nutrition Fundamentals, Personal Fit, BosuBall Fitness, Prenatal Exercise and Aquasize. I have managed and coordinated fitness programs and departments and currently work at a Diabetic Prevention clinic for the Nevada Urban Indians. I also earned a Bachelors of Science degree in Business Administration.
